Lightweight & Corrosion-Resistant Industrial Workhorse
The electric fan stainless, also known as a fiber-reinforced plastic fan, is engineered as a fully non-metallic, integrally molded, corrosion-resistant ventilation solution. Designed in compliance with GB/T 13275, GB/T 2888, HG/T 20696, and ASTM D5364 standards, this fan delivers reliable performance in environments where traditional metal fans fail. Manufactured from glass fibers reinforced with unsaturated polyester, epoxy, or vinyl ester resins, it offers a strength-to-weight ratio superior to that of ordinary steel, along with excellent resistance to corrosion, aging, and electrical conductivity. This makes the FRP fan a cost-effective and technically sound choice for handling sulfuric, hydrochloric, and phosphoric acids, alkaline gases, and salt-laden atmospheres commonly found in electroplating, pickling, and wastewater treatment applications.
Superior Engineering for Efficient & Durable Operation
The electric fan stainless is produced using seamless molding techniques that integrate the casing and impeller into a single, rigid structure, completely eliminating weld-related corrosion risks. The backward-curved aerodynamic impeller-typically only one-third to one-half the weight of a comparable metal impeller-ensures rapid start-up and low rotational inertia. The resin matrix can be tailored to specific service conditions: epoxy for alkali resistance, isophthalic polyester for acid resistance, or vinyl ester for broad chemical exposure and elevated temperature operation. A UV-resistant protective gel coat is also available for outdoor installations. With a rated airflow of 10,000 m³/h and a total pressure of 600 Pa, the fan maintains stable measured performance between 9,800–10,200 m³/h and 580–620 Pa, operating at an efficiency of 72–75%.
Proven Reliability in Demanding Environmental Applications
In critical applications such as coastal power plant wet flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, the FRP fan demonstrates outstanding long-term reliability. It effectively handles saturated, low-temperature flue gas containing residual SO₂, SO₃, and chlorides-an aggressive "acid dew point" environment that rapidly degrades carbon steel. Installed at the scrubber outlet, the vinyl ester resin construction provides excellent resistance to these corrosive conditions. The fan's lightweight design reduces structural loads on supporting frameworks, and routine maintenance can be performed safely without hot work. Delivering a significant lifecycle cost advantage over high-alloy metal fans, the FRP fan serves as a dependable and economical backbone for sustainable industrial air-handling systems.
