Centrifugal corrosion-resistant fans have high pressure but relatively limited airflow, while our factory's Axial flow anti-corrosion blower adopts an axial structure capable of conveying large volumes of air at lower energy consumption, with all components contacting corrosive media treated for corrosion resistance - the ideal equipment for general ventilation in large-area corrosive environments.

The Axial flow anti-corrosion blower is implemented through two main approaches. One is an all-plastic structure using FRP or PP injection-molded casings, impellers, and guide shrouds, achieving overall chemical inertness - completely eliminating the need for metal protective coatings and concerns about rust damage. The other is heavy anti-corrosion coating treatment on a metal substrate, such as epoxy resin, polyurea, or PTFE (Teflon) spraying, suitable for larger fans requiring higher structural strength. Impellers are usually molded FRP or nickel-plated aluminum alloy, ensuring both strength and corrosion resistance. Motors are corrosion-resistant or totally enclosed type with special anti-corrosion coating treatment and IP55+ protection. Fans are often designed for easy wash-down cleaning to prevent corrosive dust accumulation on surfaces. Every Axial flow anti-corrosion blower from our factory undergoes dynamic balancing, insulation testing, and no-load running testing before shipping, ensuring long-term reliable operation in corrosive environments. In the sludge treatment workshop of a large wastewater treatment plant, air is filled with moist air containing corrosive substances such as hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, which corrode ordinary metal equipment extremely rapidly. FRP Axial flow anti-corrosion blowers installed on the workshop walls continuously extract this foul air and introduce fresh air. Customization Capability

 

 

The customization focus for FRP corrosion-resistant axial fans is on resin system and structural dimensions. Based on medium composition, concentration, and temperature, select isophthalic polyester, epoxy, or vinyl ester resin. Impeller diameters from 300mm to 1,600mm can be customized as needed. Inlet/outlet flanges can be machined to customer duct dimensions. UV-resistant gel coat layers can be configured for outdoor use. Corrosion-resistant or totally enclosed motors can be configured. Installation types include ducted, wall-mounted, and elbow types. MOQ is one unit; customization lead time is 10–15 working days.

 

Packaging & Shipping

 

 

FRP products are light but relatively brittle; packaging focuses on collision prevention. Fan casings and impeller surfaces are covered with bubble wrap and stretch film; flange surfaces and blades are fitted with cardboard corner protectors. Complete units are packaged in wooden crates, with equipment position secured inside by foam and wooden blocks to prevent swaying and collision during transport. Motors and junction boxes are covered with waterproof bags. Accessories include conformity certificate, user manual, installation bolts, and sealing strips, sealed in waterproof bags. Exterior markings include product name/model, resin type, crate number, weight, dimensions, and fragile/this-side-up handling symbols. We support EXW or transport agency; for export, we can provide customs assistance.

 

FAQ

 

 

Q: Are FRP fans sturdy?

A: The specific strength (strength-to-weight ratio) of FRP exceeds ordinary steel. Although absolute hardness is not as high as metal, it is fully adequate for ventilation fan use scenarios. We adopt thickened design and reasonable fiber layup, with casing strength meeting installation and operation requirements.

Q: What temperature can it withstand?

A: Isophthalic polyester resin is suitable for below 80°C; vinyl ester resin can withstand 120°C. For higher temperatures, other materials should be selected. We recommend appropriate resin systems based on customer medium temperature.

Q: Can FRP fans be repaired?

A: Yes. If local damage occurs to the FRP casing, on-site repair can be performed using resin and glass fiber. After repair, strength and corrosion resistance are unaffected, and repair costs are lower than for metal fans.
