Product Description
The rolling workshops of steel mills, the clinker cooling sections of cement plants, the coal conveyors of thermal power plants - these heavy industrial locations continuously release large amounts of heat and dust during production, with indoor temperatures often exceeding 40°C, air filled with smoke and odors, and poor working conditions for workers. Ordinary civilian roof fans lack sufficient airflow and structural strength, suffering frequent breakdowns in such environments before long. Our factory's Industrial roof extractor fan is a heavy-duty roof fan specifically designed for high-flow exhaust in heavy industrial plants - structurally robust, high airflow, heat- and dust-resistant, capable of long-term stable operation in harsh industrial environments.
The Industrial roof extractor fan is designed around two keywords: "heavy-duty" and "high-flow." The impeller adopts large-diameter cast aluminum airfoil blades or steel welded blades with large blade area and strong thrust, delivering single-unit airflow exceeding 100,000 m³/h, capable of rapidly extracting hot air and smoke accumulated at the plant top. The casing is welded from thickened steel plate with anti-corrosion coating on both inner and outer surfaces, with critical areas thickened to withstand vibration and dust erosion in industrial environments. The motor is a high-power industrial-grade motor with IP55+ protection and Class F insulation, connected to the impeller via a long shaft; the motor is located outside the airflow to avoid contact with high-temperature dust-laden gas while facilitating maintenance. The fan is configured with gravity or electric weather dampers, bird screens, and anti-vibration pads, automatically closing when stopped to prevent weather backflow. Every Industrial roof extractor fan from our factory undergoes dynamic balancing, no-load trial running, and vibration detection before shipping, ensuring stable operation at high speed and high flow. In a rolling workshop renovation project at a large steel enterprise, we arranged eight Industrial roof extractor fans evenly on the roof, each delivering 40,000 m³/h. After commissioning, the workshop top temperature dropped by 8–10°C, smoke concentration decreased significantly, and worker operating conditions improved markedly - this is the actual effect of high-flow industrial roof exhaust.

Factory Strength
Our factory has 25 years focused on industrial fan manufacturing and is one of the earlier domestic enterprises producing industrial roof fans. The factory covers over 10,000 square meters with over 100 employees, equipped with dynamic balancing machines, CNC laser cutting machines, CNC bending machines, and CNC spinning machines, with monthly production capacity of 5 million RMB. Industrial roof fans are our main product line; we have provided roof exhaust solutions for hundreds of plants in industries including metallurgy, building materials, and power, with products covering 26 provinces and cities nationwide and some exported with complete equipment sets.
Packaging & Shipping
Large industrial roof fans are large and heavy, packaged in fumigated solid wooden crates with structural strength calculated based on equipment weight. Impellers and casings are wrapped in stretch film for moisture protection; flange surfaces are coated with rust-preventive oil and fitted with covers; motors are covered with waterproof bags; impellers are secured on dedicated brackets to prevent collision damage. Wooden crate bases are fitted with forklift slots and lifting points. Accessories include conformity certificate, user manual, anchor bolts, and sealing strips, sealed in waterproof bags. Exterior markings include product name/model, airflow, crate number, weight, dimensions, and handling symbols. We support EXW delivery or transport to ports; for export, we can provide customs documentation. Large equipment can be arranged for dedicated vehicle transport.
FAQ
Q: With such high airflow, will it be very noisy?
A: Industrial roof fan operating noise is 75–85 dB(A), but with minimal indoor impact when roof-mounted. For noise requirements, silencer-type cylinders can be configured or silencers added at the inlet, reducing noise by 10–15 dB.
Q: The plant is very tall - how many units are needed?
A: Calculated based on plant volume, required air change rate, and single-unit airflow. Generally, heavy industrial plants recommend 6–12 air changes per hour. Our technical personnel can provide layout proposals and quantity recommendations based on plant dimensions and heat source conditions.
Q: Will dust-laden gas wear the impeller?
A: Standard cast aluminum impellers are suitable for air with mild dust. For high dust concentrations, steel welded impellers or blade leading-edge wear treatment are available. We recommend appropriate materials based on customer medium conditions.
