Product Description
In hot air circulation for heat treatment furnaces, hot air conveyance for drying lines, and gas turbine inlet air preheating systems, operating conditions often fall between pure axial and pure centrifugal - temperatures of 200–400°C, requiring certain pressure to overcome nozzle and duct resistance while also needing relatively large flow. Pure axial fans lack sufficient pressure; pure centrifugal fans are too large and inefficient. Our factory's Industrial mixed-flow high-temperature fan combines the high flow of axial fans with the high pressure head of centrifugal fans, optimized for medium-high temperature, medium-system-resistance process gas conveyance - the ideal choice for such "intermediate conditions."
The Industrial mixed-flow high-temperature fan adopts mixed-flow impellers with complex blade shapes, mostly precision-cast or welded from heat-resistant stainless steel to ensure profile accuracy and strength at high temperatures. Within the impeller, gas moves along the mixed-flow direction, receiving both axial thrust and centrifugal pressurization - high efficiency, low noise, and moderate pressure. The casing design guides gas smoothly transitioning from axial to oblique outlet, with smooth internal flow passages to reduce resistance at high temperatures. Since pressure is higher than axial fans, bearing loads are greater, making bearing cooling systems (air or water cooled) more critical. To accommodate thermal expansion, impeller-to-shaft connections often adopt taper sleeve fits or high-strength radial keys, ensuring no loosening under hot conditions. Our factory's R&D team performs dedicated mixed-flow impeller aerodynamic design and thermodynamic calculations based on customer process temperature, flow, and system resistance, ensuring every Industrial mixed-flow high-temperature fan operates at optimal efficiency at the customer's actual operating point. In a large continuous steel plate heat treatment production line, mixed-flow high-temperature fans are used for hot air circulation in the slow-cooling or over-aging sections, requiring protective atmosphere (such as nitrogen-hydrogen mixture) heated to approximately 300°C and forcibly circulated above and below the steel plate at certain pressure and flow. A high-power mixed-flow high-temperature fan can provide higher pressure head than axial fans to overcome densely arranged nozzles and duct resistance, while achieving higher efficiency than larger centrifugal fans at equivalent flow and pressure, saving valuable equipment space and energy consumption - a key auxiliary device for improving high-end plate heat treatment quality and efficiency.

Customization Capability
Mixed-flow high-temperature fans can be customized based on customer process parameters. Based on temperature, flow, and pressure, perform mixed-flow impeller aerodynamic design, with impeller material selectable as precision-cast or welded heat-resistant stainless steel. Outlet angle customizable (45°, 60°, or other). Bearing cooling method selectable as air or water cooled. Variable-frequency speed control systems can be configured to automatically adjust airflow based on process temperature. Inlet/outlet flange dimensions machined to customer ducts. Insulation layers and rain caps available. MOQ is one unit; customization lead time is 10–15 working days.
Quality Control
The quality focus of mixed-flow high-temperature fans is on impeller precision and hot-state performance. Heat-resistant stainless steel materials are verified against material certificates upon warehousing, with spectral analysis verification. Precision-cast impellers undergo dimensional inspection and surface flaw detection; welded impellers undergo weld penetrant testing. After welding or casting, impellers undergo stress-relief treatment, then dynamic balancing with accuracy no lower than Grade G6.3. Bearing housings undergo cooling system sealing testing. After assembly, no-load running of no less than 2 hours monitors bearing temperature rise, vibration, and noise. Every product undergoes 100% inspection, accompanied by material certificates and inspection records.
After-Sales Service
One-year warranty; manufacturing defects within the warranty period are repaired or replaced free of charge. Dedicated team responds within 24 hours and provides solutions within 48 hours. Mixed-flow high-temperature fan customers enjoy regular follow-up visits to inspect impeller condition and bearing temperature, identifying potential issues proactively. Beyond the warranty period, lifetime cost-price repair is offered with supply of heat-resistant impellers, bearing housings, and seals. On-site installation guidance and operator training are available.
