When a motor drives the impeller to rotate, the gas between the impellers rotates accordingly, gaining centrifugal force. Due to the diffusion motion of the gas within the impeller, the gas velocity increases after passing through the impeller. The gas then flows through guide vanes, which convert some of the deflected kinetic energy into static pressure energy, causing the gas to enter the diffuser at a specific speed and direction. In the diffuser, the gas velocity decreases, the pressure further increases, and finally, it is discharged from the fan outlet. The rotation of the impeller is crucial in this process, determining the degree to which the gas is accelerated and pressurized.

Industrial Ventilation: In industries such as steel, chemical, and power, centrifugal fans are used for ventilation and air exchange in factories, improving the working environment.

Boiler Support: As induced draft fans or forced draft fans for boilers, centrifugal fans provide the necessary air or exhaust flue gas, ensuring the normal operation of the boiler.

Air Conditioning Systems: In air conditioning systems of large commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, and other similar locations, centrifugal fans are used for air circulation and transportation, providing a comfortable indoor environment.

In the environmental protection field: Centrifugal fans are used for gas transportation and treatment in environmental protection equipment such as waste gas treatment and dust removal, thus protecting the environment.
